Olivier has been an airline pilot for over 3 years and has been in the aviation industry since he was 18 years old. Flying drones is a great passion of his. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Aviation from the University of North Dakota in 2018.
Chip has flown both civilian and military aircraft and is now a commercial airline pilot. With over 20 years of flying experience, Chip brings a rich history of aviation experience to the team.
Matt Clark has been involved in aviation for 13 years. Matt graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a B.S in Aviation. In addition to drone operations, he has experience in airlines, general aviation mapping and flight instructing. Matt is civically engaged in efforts to legalize the cannabis plant for any use in Kansas.
Lance Mundo is the owner of Triple Zero Commercial Roofing and ALIAS, LLC. Prior to joining Blue Nose, Lance served in the U.S. Army for 20 years in numerous positions, retiring as an Attack Helicopter Pilot with the 101st Airborne Division. Lance earned an MBA from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Regis University.
Chris attended the University of Oklahoma where he received a “Professional Pilot” degree before beginning eight years of service as a U.S. Marine. While on active duty, his primary specialty was UH-1Y helicopter pilot. He also served as an Air Officer, coordinating all air missions and attacks for a Marine infantry battalion. After leaving active duty, he began a new career as an airline pilot where he flew regional jets for a year. He is also in the process of earning his master’s degree in Aviation and Aerospace Sustainability from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
James Newton has worked on large Federal Government programs and spent 7+ years in the Middle East, supporting the Saudi Ministry of Defense’s C-130 aircraft programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran serving over 15+ years overseas. James earned his Bachelor of Science degree from City College of Chicago in Mathematics and a Master of Technology Leadership Certificate from the University of Virginia. He has been safely flying UASs since 2011 and is FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certified.
Christian Leonhard, Sr. is the owner of Sky Pixx ltd. as a franchisee for Blue Nose Aerial Imaging. As a professional pilot, Christian has two decades of aviation experience in both military and commercial worldwide operations. Returning home to Western Ohio and licensed in the next growing dimension of aerospace–UAS operations–he is poised to deliver on imagery.
Chris earned his B.S. in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. After college, he began his career in aviation with the United States Marine Corps as a helicopter pilot. Chris is currently a professional airline pilot and an FAA-certified drone pilot.
Having a background in rice farming Cody Thomas set out in 2017 to start his first small business using small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), or more commonly known as drones, to help mitigate production issues with unique datasets never used before. Today, Cody provides his services for growers, agribusinesses, agronomists, and educational institutions across the state of California.
Cody holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources Management from California State University, Chico. His education at Chico State helped mould Cody for his environmental and agricultural goals utilizing drone technology.
Michael Owens is the owner of Owens Agriculture LLC. in Madisonville, TN and is a proud franchise owner with Blue Nose Aerial Imaging. Before joining Blue Nose he was an airline pilot for eight years. Three of those years were in Nome, AK where he was born and raised. Michael has his Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Skylar first used aerial imaging in 2011 as a military pilot flying combat operations in Afghanistan. Following his active duty career where he flew more than 1,000 combat hours, Skylar transitioned to flying for a major airline and utilizing his aerial imaging background to provide unparalleled services to his clients.
Skylar earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in 2009 and a Master of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
